The Wrestler is a movie about a man who is retired professional wrestler. The movie is directed by Darren Aronofsky and written by Robert D. Siegel. The movie is all set to be released on 19th December, 2008 for a worldwide release.

Randy takes job at a deli where he meets a striper. He feels attracted towards the woman and tries to form a relationship with her. Having problems with his daughter, he tries to get her back after trying so hard. A twist in the movie comes when Randy faces a rematch that could cost him his life with Ayatollah, who is also an old wrestler. Randy takes the challenge to fight with the wrestler as he was an old rival.
