Recently in May, Simpson and Pete Wentz got married and by the end of the month they announced that they are expecting their first child. Lately, unwilling to let pregnancy ruin her look, Ashlee is still maintaining the fiery color of her hair.

However, the American Pop Star didn’t want to endanger her pregnancy because of the dyes, and so she’s using herbal hair color specially meant for pregnant women. An insider said that the “Saturday Night” singer has been maintaining her current hair color because she got good reviews when she started coloring her hair red back in January 2008.

The insider added, “She loves her hair red, and so does her husband Pete!” According to a source, she likes to have a new color every month or so. Therefore, she changes her hair color like the rest of us change underwear. Her hair is now dyed a copper red, but she’s not sure how it’s going to look once it starts growing out and she gets roots.”

Meanwhile, Ashlee hubby Pete also confirmed that, he loves to see his wife’s beautiful red hairs, because it reminds him of a character in 1988 animated film “Who Framed Roger Rabit,” Jessica Rabbit, who was his first crush.
