GQ held it’s Men of the Year 2009 Awards at The Royal Opera House in London, England, and, while a celebration of male accomplishment in several fields, including showbiz, television and politics, it was the ladies who stole the thunder on the red carpet.
Actress Eva Mendes, who was just recently in Italy, at the Venice Film Festival, promoting her latest film, “The Bad Lieutenant,” brought true Hollywood glamour to the event.
Glamorous model Kelly Brook was in a very playful, figure-hugging, pink frock in which her perfectly complemented extremely famous curves were easily visible.
“Slumdog Millionaire” and by-now established stunner Freida Pinto went for classic black in a little, cut-out number, again made of sheer fabric.
Model Daisy Lowe in a shining silver color dress
Actress Gemma Arterton also cut an impressive appearance, as she chose to tone down her colorful personality with an all-black.
Elizabeth Hurley, oppositely, went for summery and light. Usually wearing thigh-slit, floor-length dresses, the star now chose a sky blue, strapless creation that she matched with strappy sandals for a more summery feel.
